About fear and faith? I've been asked to sing at our church during the offeratory and the sermon is about fear and faith. Something contempary would be ideal for me, but the songs I have on my iPod don't reference fear and faith.

While it doesn't specify fear or faith when I saw your post "Praise You in This Storm" came to mind immediately. It was a few years old when my mother died 7 years ago and it meant a lot to me then. I love the part from Psalms which was definitely written by David in a fearful time. The hill reference always makes me think of the Texas Hill Country.

Amazing Grace in various forms has always been a good stand by for fear and faith.

This version of Leonard Cohen's Hallelujah by K.D. is a powerful performance of another good song of fear and faith if you want something more contemporary.

It's all in the way you sing it...put your own spin on it. There are so many different versions of this song on youtube.
