The entire album holds a permanent place on my MP3 player for sure. For anyone interested you they had a "Classic Albums" TV show segment on the making of Aja. You can catch it on Netflix instant view. I saw it a few months back.

Aja is easily imo... in the top 5 slickest albums of music ever recorded.

Hey, what happened to real music anyways?!!

Oh how time do fly by. Great album, Aja is one of my favorites. I bought the LP when it first came out. Aja, was a blast to play the drums to. Nice tune, TVofM.

I've only listened the first couple of tracks of the new album "Sunken Condos" and I was surprised. Fagan seems to have regained a bit of his edge that IMO was lost after Nightfly. I'll listen to the rest later today.

Aja... is awesome, and it amazes me that it was as popular as it was. If released today it probably wouldn't even be on the charts and that's sad.

I thought "Two against nature" was pretty good for 2nd generation Dan.

Cool, good for Steely Dan.

I had that album on vinyl back in the day. I think it was mine... I know I was there.

Thanx for the memory hit.
