I really love this song - it's awesome that it's a long song. He really wants her back and can really feel the passion (singer Rick Stevens) I get the feeling if he doesn't get her back he'll never stop singing this song to her.
Especially love the part "Yes there were some girls but I dropped them on site just for you . . ." "I'm down on my knees begging you please, darling think twice about me . . ."
I've been listening to this song since the early 70s and still just as captivated
