You're thinking of gg allin. But he didn't kill himself, (although he threatened to many times) and he did that defecating on stage more than once. He OD'd on heroin.

When I was in high school, the cool/edgy thing to do amongst the punk/skater crowd that I was part of was to go see a GG Allin concert. People thought of it as comedy, I think, even though it was actually brain damaged, drug addicted behavior. I didn't see the appeal and never went to see him. There are a lot of music acts that I regret missing. GG is not one of them.
Much more sad than "heinous", but...Frank Rosolino, one of jazz's greatest trombonists, went crazy on November 26, 1978, shooting two of his sons and killing himself. After learning that Rosolino had been carrying on an affair, his third wife committed suicide via carbon monoxide in their garage. Rosolino was unable to cope with her death, so one night in late November he shot both of his young sons, killing one and blinding the other, before killing himself.
When I met him at a concert, he seemed to be a happy-go-lucky guy, with a great sense of humor and upbeat attitude. As I say, very sad.
Ian David Karslake Watkins (born 30 July 1977) is a Welsh musician and convicted attempted child rapist. Watkins achieved prominence as a founding member, lead vocalist, and lyricist of the rock band Lostprophets. Lostprophets disbanded in 2013 after Watkins was charged with sexual offences in late 2012. In November 2013, he pleaded guilty to 13 charges, including the attempted rape and sexual assault of a child under 13; these offences were committed against the infant children of two fans who were also convicted.He was subsequently sentenced to 29 years' imprisonment and six years on extended licence.
