After 10 years, Gilmour is finally coming back to the US. His solo concerts in Europe have been pretty amazing. At least the ones I have seen on youtube. In case he decides to wait another 10 years to come back, I had to get tickets for this. Anybody else going?

He's playing 4 dates. 3 in the US and 1 in Canada:
24 March 2016 Los Angeles United States Hollywood Bowl
31 March 2016 Toronto Canada Air Canada Centre
8 April 2016 Chicago United States United Center
11 April 2016 New York City Madison Square Garden

Too far from here, or I'd be on it.

They sold out in a matter of minutes. I have a feeling a lot of people are going to be traveling for these. Maybe he will add more shows, but I don't know about more cities. He dubbed this as "The old man's tour." So I don't know if he plans on doing a lot of traveling around the states. When he toured 10 years ago, he also limited it to a few places.

One of my other favorites, Jethro Tull has disbanded, but both Ian Anderson and Martin Barre are performing alone now. Hopefully one or both will tour and come here or at least within a thousand miles. Gilmour is incredible, I often listen to the Pink Floyd channel on the internet at work.

Yes. The new album is due out in September. If you bought concert tickets from ticketmaster, they send you a CD along with the tickets.

I saw the last two "Tull" tours which are Ian with new members. They were good shows for Tull fans.

Still not like seeing them back in the day. They did play "Farm on the Freeway" last tour which I waited forever to hear live.

We saw Tull last on the "dot com" tour in fall, 1999, here in Seattle. I never missed them whenever they were in the San Francisco Bay area in the 60s-70s.
I remember Pink Floyd in the 60s with their light shows.

The "dot com" CD was very good. So was Secret Language of Birds. Almost rivaled the old stuff.
