Take on me. I always loved that song. Some think it strange. Another one hit wonder band but boy was it a hit. I was about to post my own favorite but notice this is a 8 month old thread with just 2 responses. I guess that goes to show that even rap fans can admit it sucks. So I wont post any.
It was a some years back when VH1 had their 100 top 80's videos (Not songs) and the #1 video was ''Take on Me'' by A-Ha as i wasn't surprised.
I love music videos. I like videos of songs that I normally would not listen to as a song alone as I am pretty much a metal head, but when combined with a produced video, I listen to a lot of music outside the box of metal. For many a music video could be from one of their favorite songs, yet also from songs they would normally not listen to. Simply put, my favorite music videos are ones that compel me to watch.
I do not consider live concert videos part of this discussion. This is produced videos that may have a few live clips, but mostly are like a movie was made.
