Anything from Grease reminds me of the summer I spent working in an injection molding plant. Bleah!
"Weekend in New England" reminds me of when my high school girlfriends and I spent the weekend at a ski resort over the Christmas holiday.
"Carnival of Sorts" by R.E.M. reminds me of playing Frisbee in my front yard with my sister, and of my sister's way cool Nissan Pulsar with T-tops.
"Burning Down the House" by the Talking Heads reminds me of my friend Mike (RIP), while "This Must Be the Place" from the same album reminds me of a hot afternoon defrosting the freezer.
Me and my best-friend would get "happy" back in the day and the Beatles-My Life was pretty easy to listen to along with anything from THE FLOYD. Being "Happy" and listening to THE FLOYD went very well together.
Barry Manilow's "Ready To Take A Chance Again." My childhood, growing up in the Bay Area. See movie, "Foul Play."
The Beatles, "In My Life" and Lionel Richie's and Diana Ross "Endless Love." My first love-circa 1986.
Anything Captain and Tennile reminds me of my childhood pal, Gabrielle (same with any ABBA song).
John Denver's "Annie's Song." My wedding, my husband.
Tons more, with a ton of other memories!
I have too many!... but "Pink Floyds", Dark Side of the Moon comes to mind, when having a "mellow" time with my friends. Just sitting back,
listening to the music, laughing and/or just being there and knowing you
are in a good place.
Then there is "Dan Fogelbergs" Another Auld Lange Syne... Whenever I'd hear this, I'd always end up with a tear in my eye. Usually reminded me of
an old boyfriend. Lately it had reminded me of the last time I actually saw DF in concert (and his passing)
"Bad Medicine" by Bon Jovi. When I first heard this, I was driving in traffic and it got my mind off of it when I started paying more attention to the song then the mood the traffic was putting me in. Now, hearing it, brings
back some good memories of my concert bud and I going off to their shows.
Sooo many songs, so little time to list them all.
"Days go by I can feel 'em flying Like a hand out the window in the wind as the cars go by It's all we've been given So you better start livin' right now 'Cause days go by" Keith Urban~

Plz don`t stop, it was intersting reading your comments!
During the summer of 1982 I was 18 and in Army basic training. Some of the girls in my platoon were talking about a song, "Jack and Diane," by John Cougar. I knew him from "I Need a Lover." I was really looking forward to finishing basic training to hear this song. I was sent to broadcasting school in Indiana and I first heard the song on MTV. Now when ever I hear "Jack and Diane" it brings back a lot of memories to me.
In the 6th grade I had a crush on a pretty girl named Leslie. We lived on the same street and were in the same class. Anyway, she was the first one I was attracted to and brave enough to ask out to a movie. She said ok! But for some forgotten reason, we never made that date. I'll still place her sweet 1966 smile with this sweet 1966 song.
The movie, btw, was Mary Poppins! Big date flick there!
