So who is going to be watching?

I can't stand DL Hughley and the show is always too damn long BET tries to do music/movie/sports and everything else all in one night but I'll probably watch the performances. I really just wanna see Usher and Chris Brown, but I heard Chris Brown is going to do Take You Down - not really interested in seeing a kid grind on the floor.

I know Lil Wayne is performing but I'm sure he's just going to stand there

I hope he doens't bring Baby on stage with him - I can't stand looking at him.

LMAO I won't be watching it either because I just volunteered to work some overtime and won't get off until 9. Yeah, it's tonight. The ads have been so totally lame. They have Usher, Nelly and Lil Wayne talking to Quincy Jones through wrist watches or something like a group of superheros.

I'm not grasping the concept. BET Awards 2008 - The Official Site: Live on June 24 @ 8:00pm | BET.com (http://www.bet.com/Specials/BETAwards08/default.htm?wbc_purpose=Basic&WBCMODE=Presentation Unpublished - broken link)

I liked Al Green better than Alicia's performance. She brought out all that royalty (SWV, ENVOGUE & TLC) and it was only ok. Everybody was feeling Al's performance, though.

She basically gave Chris Brown a lap dance. She has lost all her doggone curves too. I heard she has a Wilhamina contract now so maybe that's why she's changed so much physically.
