I think his lyrics are clever, the songs are catchy and I really admire him being able to attain the level he has in the genre. I also really like that he's given a voice to another demographic and fairly successfully and eloquently too, I might add.

Normally, I wouldn't go for that genre of music, but I respect and admire the guy. He was never some white guy trying to be black.....he genuinely had a tough life growing up and his music reflects that.
Favorite songs of his: "Stan" and "Cleaning Out My Closet".
