I will always love that Lord Tariq & Peter Gunz track but I still think it's hilarious that they were singing this song about how great the Bronx is and the video is filmed in SHEA STADIUM! The opening shot of the video makes me want to think that they thought they could front on people like that was Yankee Stadium by blacking out the scoreboard.....come on, nobody is that dumb.

Thats true. Even older mainstream music conveyed a range of topics, not just sex, money and drugs. If it was about that at least it was presented in an artistic way. Contrast that with a lot of today's music you hear on the radio, and thats all the exposure the kids have. Probably the most disheartening thing though is that there are positive and talented artists today but they just don't get the airplay or buzz. Ironic in that our society has gotten more "politically correct", so go figure.
