This is sort of a version of John Lee Hooker's. Simply because of the better equipment... ie amps, mics etc. Much heavier and louder. That's the way that John would have done it too many years later.
these guys have done [butchered?] dozens of covers - whether they're better than the originals is in the ear of the beholder i guess..
some are flat out hilarious, like the conway twitty cover i can't seem to locate on youtube.
