The Avett Brothers are self-confessed, unabashed romantics.
Their style is probably too rough for some, but to me, their raw immediacy is what makes their romanticism so genuine.
They are now becoming more well-known, and their long-time fans are already complaining about their "too-polished" sound.
I would indeed love to see them live. Not all their songs are slow ballads, some of them really get going.
