To my nephew James who's birthday would have been today but slipped away to soon and to his mother who will live in a perpetual state of hell over it.

I gave James his first Jimi Hendrix CD and when I went down to visit after his death - there it was a huge poster of Jimi on his wall.

This title of this tune sums up the world pretty well, though for some it's more cruel and crazy than beautiful depending on how life has treated ya and whether you are going through it alone in the boat or have loved ones aboard with ya to cushion the ride.

Bongani Masuku, a vocalist for the Johnny Clegg's band from South Africa was murdered the other day by a group of thugs that wanted his phone and his car. He fought back and was shot to death. He may have been killed even if he had complied without resistance. Those types of vile thugs have no regard for others and sem to kill for pleasure. They should all be put to death, there and here. Not great sound on this video, though still a great tune. Bongani is the guy in yellow. Check out Johnny Clegg if you have never heard of him, he writes touching songs with much feeling and emotion and seems to be a really kind man. Sadly this is the second member of Clegg's band to meet with a violent ending. RIP Bongani
