A very 80s track from Foreigner, "Heart Turns to Stone", never-posted. Somewhat derivative rocker but showcases, as do most of the band's works, Lou Gramm's phenomenal voice.

"Spotlight Kid" (written by Blackmore and bassist Roger Glover) is from the first Rainbow album that featured Turner, Difficult To Cure (1981).

Here's another corker, off the subsequent album, Straight Between The Eyes (1982)!

Great intro riffs, and a study in the LA rock radio scene in the mid 80s (KNAC, KMET, KROQ). Also a great blonde at 0:55. Dokken, "It's Not Love", as far as I can tell never seen here.

Dint even read whole thread but here goes; 80s ended w/ pop & hairbands. Began w some leftover 70s metal/hardrock like AC/DC etc & then went new wave from punk. Then alternative began like after OMD, Flock, Duran, etc. You get point? ok then hair came w/ guys -- lookin hotter than ladies. Poison, Jovi, Skid, Warrant, Cinderella, etc.

But it had girl singers too near end. Bobby Brown & the dance tunes too, were there -- leading into early 90s w/ I got the Power, etc. So, best decade, period, in my life.
