A very 80s track from Foreigner, "Heart Turns to Stone", never-posted. Somewhat derivative rocker but showcases, as do most of the band's works, Lou Gramm's phenomenal voice.
Great intro riffs, and a study in the LA rock radio scene in the mid 80s (KNAC, KMET, KROQ). Also a great blonde at 0:55. Dokken, "It's Not Love", as far as I can tell never seen here.
Dint even read whole thread but here goes; 80s ended w/ pop & hairbands. Began w some leftover 70s metal/hardrock like AC/DC etc & then went new wave from punk. Then alternative began like after OMD, Flock, Duran, etc. You get point? ok then hair came w/ guys -- lookin hotter than ladies. Poison, Jovi, Skid, Warrant, Cinderella, etc.
But it had girl singers too near end. Bobby Brown & the dance tunes too, were there -- leading into early 90s w/ I got the Power, etc. So, best decade, period, in my life.
