Hello everyone!

Does anyone have any suggestion on property managers who rent homes in the Myrtle Beach area please.

Thank you.

Are you wanting someone to help you find a rental or do you have a house that you are looking for someone to manage?

We are planning on moving to MB next June and need contacts to rent a home. I want to be prepared ahead of time so we can make some trips down to visit and look around.
We prefer the Carolina Forest area or something south b/c St James schools.
Thank you.

Rental property is different than buying. There is no MLS listing for rentals...each property manager shows only their properties so you may have to go through multiple PMs to find the house that suits you. We rented when we first moved to MB and found the following PMs to have a nice variety and inventory. These are in recommended order.

Myrtle Beach Rental Connections
The Noble Company (one of the largest in MB)
Hart Realty
Carolina Forest Rental Properties
Southern Coast Vacations (check their long term rentals)
Chicora Rentals

You can also check Craigslist but I would only contact houses that are listed by a reputable company...not individuals. There's been a rash of fraudulent listings in the MB area lately.

Also, keep in mind that PMs are interested in renting property...not just showing people around and a property that is available in April probably will not be available in June. So, don't be surprised if you visit in, let's say February, and PMs don't want to give you the time of day. In their defense, it's because they know that they are not going to be able to rent you anything that's on their inventory at that time. However, you might be able to talk with them about what you're looking for and the time frames and have them keep you on their list so when you're ready, they might have something for you.

Let me know if I can be of any further help.

You could give Lachicotte a try that's who I rented a house through.
