I have most things figured out but I would love suggestions on a nice place to have dinner after our beach ceremony? It will just be the two of us, probably still in our wedding attire Something candlelight and that would allow us to bring in a small wedding cake would be great!

(not sure how weird that will be lol but even though we are eloping, we still love the traditional aspects of a wedding day/night)

We will be there from Monday-Friday, any recommendations on things to do or see while we are there?

Thanks!

Why Myrtle Beach? Is it close to where you are now?

Me and Mr. CSD eloped to Gatlinburg, Tennessee and went to The Little Log Wedding Chapel, beautiful setting, cost was good, license was reasonable and good the day we got it, nice steak place on the way to the chapel that we had supper at after we got married and we stayed at one of the hotels right there in Gatlinburg.

We did go out a wee bit to the surrounding area and into Pigeon Forge but we really enjoyed Gatlinburg.

At any rate, I've only been to Myrtle Beach once and I don't recall seeing much besides the big Gold Pyramid and I was on the beach at night.

Good luck with your marriage I hope you have many happy years together, safe travels and congratulations.

We are from Indiana, so the ocean is a big plus the ocean front rooms are very affordable right now, and we found an officiant and photographer for a very good price! We were leaning toward the Outer Banks of NC but it's so expensive there for hotels and wedding officiants and photographers. We pretty much just decided this month (Oct.) that we were going to go ahead with eloping so we are working with a budget, and beach wedding was what we were really wanting if we made the choice to elope.

We've been together for what will be 7 years on the day we get married, and had a wedding planned in 2012 but my dad passed 3 months prior. Haven't been able to bring myself to plan another wedding without him walking me down the aisle, and knowing I'd be skipping the father daughter dance. He was our biggest supporter during our wedding planning. He was born in SC so I think getting married there will help me feel closer to him

Thank you so much for your well wishes!

What a lovely sentiment for your ceremony! Good for you.

There used to be a very nice restaurant in NMB called The Parson's Table that might fit your needs. We haven't been in quite a while, but try there, anyway.

Completely understandable and I'm sure your Dad will approve, don't forget to tuck a photo of your Dad in the small bouquet you are hoping to find soon, he will love that.

I sincerely wish you so much joy and happiness.

One more thing, I would lean toward the light lavender and blue.

Parsons Table (in Little River) is a good suggestion. Also consider Thoroughbreds Restaurant in MB. They have some very romantic tables just for two.
