I just heard from a SC neighbor that the movie theater in the Inlet Mall is closing (or has closed). What a shame that that mall is experiencing a slow, but steadily progressive death! I don't understand it. It is in a great location and was refurbished not too long ago. When the movie theater/bowling complex moved it I believed it signaled a rebirth. Although the loss of Kmart (which I think will soon die along with Sears as a brick and mortar chain) was not a good sign. I wonder what anchor store would bring new life into the Inlet Mall? I'd love to see a Staples, Christmas Tree Store and a large discount liquor store in the mall.

I would love to see another theater chain take it over. Love the fact it's only a few mins from my house.

Inlet Square Stadium 11 is closed indeed. It should be easy for another theater chain to move in.
