Hello.
My wife is Puerto Rican and loves to cook. Problem is we cannot find any grocery stores in the Myrtle Beach area that sells the ingredients for some of the foods she makes (pasteles, alcapurria, etc.) Does anyone know where to get these vegetables (verduras)? We will go as far as 4 hours away to stock up on items.
Thanks.
George

I loved the Steel Drum bands in Puerto Rico. Love to see some here.

I have not seen any here. Try a bigger place like Wilmington NC only an hours drive or maybe the other way to Mt Pleasant which seems to have all the stores I miss from Massachusetts

Not in this town. There is ZERO diversity and the food in general is not good here. Fried and the sea food is less than average considering its a coastal community. Not even anything I would consider 'high end' in the restaurant category. If your having Chuletas , potato balls or R/B you'll have to make it at home. Goya products are available at most groceries stores but ZERO bodegas here
