Any parents out there with any input about this high school?

We are moving to Naples within the next couple of months and it is my understanding that Gulf Coast HS and Barron Collier are the preferred schools, but seems like most of the houses we are looking at are in the Palmetto Ridge HS zone.'

Thank you!

We have some good friends who have a child @ Palmetto Ridge (live in Ave Maria) - they are very pleased. I think it has improved over the last few years due to growth in that area.

I'm not from Naples but am moving there before year end. We have a pending home purchase at this moment.

I agree; there are beautiful homes in the Palmetto Ridge high school district. However, we chose to limit our home search to BC and GC just because of what I have read about PR. Not sure whether we did the right thing - just sharing my opinion.

You may want to look at Greatschools.org and Schooldigger.com.

I was born and raised here in Naples and was part of the first full four year class at PRHS. Great school because it's secluded. Not in the middle of town like Naples or baron. Gulf coast is a lot of wealthy stuck up kids who are into drugs for the most part.
