Does anyone have any input on Naples HS? Did you attend or send your kids there? How are their academic programs? Tell me your thoughts.

Thanks, I have heard good things about Barron but I have heard very little about Naples HS. Did you have any friends that went to Naples?

Naples HS has excellent sports programs, the best in the Area. Whether its Softball or Football, they are constantly up there in the state rankings. Baron is ok but Naples whips em regularly.
I'm too old to know about the academics to comment on which school is better there.

I live in CT, did not know they had High Schools in old Naples. I would not think they are teaching much.

Both of my children attended Naples High. Both came from the gifted program in the Lake Park, Gulf View school programs. Both children are highly intelligent and great athletes. My son went to UCF on full scholarship with a computer science degree and now has his own business in that field. My daughter, because of her athletic abilities and the strength of Naples High sports programs, went to college on full athletic scholarship is now a professional athlete. It is a good school. But I did my part to make sure they made good choices. The right friends, the right classes, the right social environments. I paid attention. That's it in a nutshell. Paying attention. The school can't do the job without 100% participation from the parents.
