I agree that Naples is a far better place to live than Chicago.
Believe me, living in Chicago (or several other northern cities) would simplify my life in many ways, but I am not willing to pay that much to downgrade my lifestyle to that extent.
That still doesn't mean that a heat index of over 100 degrees with insane humidity for 5 months is
comfortable , even if it is
more comfortable than 10 degrees.
