So, you lived here for a short time yet feel comfortable describing everyone in the state? ALL Tennesseans are "definitely private people"? You see my point? I realize you had a bad experience, but please don't describe ALL of us as being "very reserved" and unfriendly.

I do hope you found a place you like better, though. It's no fun feeling stuck somewhere.

That is stereotyping based on your limited experience. It's not fair to judge ANYTHING based on a short experience. How would you feel if you were judged as such?

I moved here in 1997 about the same time the Oilers did and HATED it. I couldn't wait to get the hell out of Tennessee.

I moved back to Florida and MAN did it SUCK!

I ended up moving back to Tennessee in 2001 and have been here almost exclusivley since then and love it here for the most part. Some times I hate Nashville more then anything and say I want to move away but then I think about what I'll be missing when I go.

No place is perfect but Tennessee is a great place to live.

I moved here from New Jersey all alone in 1994 and never once have regretted my decision. TN and I made a perfect fit from day #1. I am very fortunate to have discovered this place I love.
