After reading your first post, I was thinking Bradford Hills/Crieve Hall/Lennox Village.

Lennox Village has a ton of young couples and families with parks, a weekend farmer's market, walkable sidewalks and a few restaurants and bars. I've spent a lot of time there recently and been really impressed with all the activity and people out walking with children, pets, etc.
Example in Lennox:

Crieve Hall would be at the very high end of your budget, but it's a wonderful location with lots of young families and a great loaction close to Brentwood and easy commute to downtown. Crieve Hall is generally considered to be south of Blackman, North of Old Hickory, west of Edmondson Pike and east of Franklin Road.

I would also look at 37027 Davidson County to see if there is anything in it in your price range.

Here's an example in Autumn Oaks that's just a touch above your budget::

So much great information here! Does anybody have any specific areas/neighborhoods in Thompsons Station that they would recommend we go check out? We looked in Bradford Hills and liked it a lot too!
