Wondering if it's possible to get a TH or house for rent near Patterson street or within 30 min. commute that is safe for a single lady under 1000/mo? Have a job opportunity there at Hospice, but not sure I can afford to live in Nashville.
Thanks Julianna

I am afraid I don't know don't the area well but this website will let you look for rentals by location and might be helpful. Although rentals are tight here, your budget should get you something safe.

Good luck and if you want to ask about a more general location you might get more response . . .

I personally wouldn't live north of Charlotte Ave. or west of the loop (say 11th Ave). Really close to Patterson and just south is Vanderbilt so that would be fine, but you might have to do some looking to find something in your price range.

I know the hospice - my mom passed away there. I would look on the other side of West End Ave - up toward Belmont College, or out West End Ave a bit, or waaayyy out Charlotte Pike.

I appreciate the info, but decided after driving thru Nashville at rush hour this evening, that Nashville isn't for me! Bumper to bumper traffic for two hours to get through town is not something I want to do daily
I do have an opportunity in Columbia, so concentrating on that area now since it's more rural and less traffic. If anyone has info on that area or Spring Hill, that would be helpful.
Thanks Julianna

2 hours where? That's not normal anywhere. There must've been a wreck.

You were driving northbound in the evening and got stuck in bumper to bumper traffic?
