Because threads about Clarksville are in the Nashville forum (such as this thread). Cookeville is too far to be part of another city's forum. In addition, there are a lot more threads about Cookeville than there are about Clarksville, for whatever reason.
But back to the topic of this thread: this is definitely good news for Clarksville! Even though I am in principle opposed to huge government give-aways in order to lure companies to town, I'm sure the 1800 jobs at this factory and the hundreds of other jobs at nearby businesses will help the Clarksville/Hopkinsville economy tremendously. I do think it's interesting that Hankook apparently had its choice of locations in Tennessee, including the abandoned Goodyear factory in Union City, and still chose Clarksville. Says a lot about Clarksville.
