Thanks everyone for your comments.

I think we are going to start in Goodlettsville, cehck out hendersonville, and then roll on down to Nashville and check things out.

Are there any transplants on here from SoCal? I just want to see how much of an adjustment, if any, there is from here to there! :-)

Thanks again!

Jeff

While not trying to look like a tourist, you really need to check out downtown. Do a honky tonk, from Tootsies and Roberts to the Wild Horse Saloon. You can find ANY type of music you might want LIVE and withink walking distance. Find out if ANYONE is playing at the Ryman, get a ticket and GO! there is nothing like it. This is what sets Nashville apart from all other cities. The rest, well, we have wonderful parks (today would have been great, it's 70! but it may be a little chilly to check them out) and Malls malls malls but it is the diversity of our neighboroods that makes living here great, work your way out from downtown in all directions (I am partial to East Nashville and Hillsboro Vandy, Green Hills) you will surely find one that you will love and become a part of. Oh, and I agree, you must do the Pancake Pantry (don't worry, the line moves quickly) Good luck and have fun!!
