I THINK it's Brentwood, right off of 65 at Exit 69? Closed a couple of weeks ago with apparently no warning. I actually never went there. The building is being repaired and will open as a Cheddars, which one friend was happy about!

it was awful. I can't believe it stayed open as long as it did. Especially after Chuy's came to town.

I am much more likely to go to Cheddars than I was Cozy Mels. Of course, if it were opening as a Boston Market, I would likely be there several times a week!

Boston Market would have been a huge help at Thanksgiving! I think someone said there WAS one in Cool Springs that didn't make it.

There was one in Brentwood for a while, I believe where the current McAlister's is located.

The couple times we went there it took forever to get our food and it was mediocre. Chuy's puts it to shame.

I don't think it made it to the early 2000s. I remember going there as a kid. That pharmacy was probably still a Revco back then.

There was one in Cool Springs too. I'm pretty sure it was where the Schlotzsky's is now. I moved to Nashville in 1999, so that one would have to have made it into the early 2000s because it was here at least a couple of years that I lived here.

Back to the topic- I'm surprised Cozymel's didn't close years ago. There didn't appear to ever be many customers there, even at peak times the parking lot was pretty empty.

I have been to Cozymel many times, always had good food and great service and a reasonable price. Was going to go there last Saturday, and saw it closed. I've never been to Cheddar's, never will because I have no interest in learning whether it is actually better then yet another bland chain restaurant.
