My husband is starting a job at Columbia State in mid-August and I am frantically trying to figure out where to live. I have a rising first grader and a 2.5 year old. I am not looking for a school that is test score-focused or extremely high-pressure, but I am hoping for good STEM, extra-curriculars, and a positive environment.

Here are the schools we are considering:
- Woodard/Mt. Pleasant
- Woodard/Columbia Central
- Heritage/Independence
- Marvin Wright/Spring Hill
- Spring Hill/Spring Hill
- Chapman's Retreat/Summit
- Allendale/Summit
- Longview/Summitt

Can anyone give me feedback on these??? How about Maury vs Williamson Co -- pros/cons? Thanks a million!

I would stay on the Williamson County side of Spring Hill.

Can you elaborate? I know it's thought to be more desirable but not sure why.

Williamson Co. Is the "it" county with the most affluent suburbs and as it goes everywhere, they have the highest ranked schools.
