Was poking around on the MTA site and found they have a route to and from Murfreesboro that leaves from downtown. Looks like it takes about 83-87 minutes from the schedule. Has anyone had experience with this route? Does it still run? Looks like it doesn't go down I-24, but down M'boro pike through Smyrna. Would take a good bit longer, but you could work on the bus...

...which reminds me...

There is a railway that goes from Lebanon to Nashville and vice versa. What does that have to do with you? Rumor is that the next "leg" will be headed to M'boro. you may check up on that and see if they have nailed down any plans. Last time I called, they didn't have much info. Wouldn't help you initially, but may help your decision...if they went opposite rush hour, that is. You'd have to check on that I suppose.

I really don't know to be honest. The only time I see it are at the MTSU and Middle Tennessee Blvd. stops. I've never seen more than two people waiting at those stops.
