Not only were we chosen as the best, most affordable place in TN to raise kids, Murfreesboro was mentioned in the main article itself. Woo hoo!!!

Kudos to Murfreesboro! Clarksville and Franklin were honorable mentions.

I might add that only cities with more than 50,000 people were used in the survey.

We are moving to the Nashville from Fl this summer. It looks like we might want to be looking in your area!

Don't forget that this poll included ONLY cities with more than 50,000 people. I'm not trying to take away from Murfreesboro's glory, but keep in mind that there a half-dozen other wonderful communities around Nashville that have excellent schools and are very family-friendly but weren't included in this particular poll because they have fewer than 50,000 residents.

Where are you in FL? I moved to Murfreesboro from FL and love it here. Nice down to earth people, very clean and extremely kid friendly. It's a very convenient little city. You will find everything you need right here.
If I can answer any questions for you, I would be happy to.
I read in another post you had, you were looking in the $200-$250k price range. You will get a lot of house for that money in Murfreesboro.
