Please quit with the overzealous fear-baiting. It's beyond obnoxious. Every poster seeking an honest answer doesn't need all your baggage and jaded perceptions.
You have your opinions, I have mine. And regarding YOUR opinion of MY opinions, I could not care less.

I'm budgeting (alot...and again and again), so any ideas about average utility cost?

Also, are Nashville buses safe or skeezy? My mother gets an ill look on her face when I talk about using them. I think they are great.
You won't find anything worth living in that is within walking distance of Vandy for $750. Bellevue will be your best bet.

As for MTA buses: skeezy. Your mother's look is well-warranted.

You wouldn't have responded if you didn't care. It's clear to me that the only thing you truly could not care less about is what you type.

I personally care that you give people unsupported misconceptions about areas you don't like or about which you know very little. Therefore, I will continue to call you out each and every time you do it. Have a good day!

Hi I am looking into all of those places to move in and I was wondering what you ended up choosing! I'm not from the area, so if you have any pros/cons about the ones you checked out I'd really appreciate it if you could share!
Thanks!

Hey - sorry for the late response! I was actually just browsing here for something completely different and found this...ha. I actually ended up in a duplex just down the road from the Fountains, but here's what I gathered -

The Fountains has a bus stop right outside it, which is nice. The woman was super hospitable when we went to look at it, and it seemed like a really great complex. It was still our second choice after the duplex.

We didn't look at the Royal Arms because it was the middle of June...it has a long waiting list in the busy season (summer, because of Vandy/Belmont/etc). However, a friend of a friend moved there at the beginning of January and said she likes it, though I haven't seen it yet.

Good luck!
