That would definitely freak me out unless there was a little sign or something with the explanation and name of the artist.

I would love to come across something like that!

There was a North Carolina artist featured yesterday on the CBS Sunday show that has done some really great natural sculptures: Traveling Companions - Patrick Dougherty's giant stick sculptures - Pictures - CBS News

Oh my family and I went to see him and had a nice long talk with him. The installation he did at the NC Botanical gardens had not much publicity when we went and he had a cadre of volunteers who bring materials from all over the place and help him set up scaffolding . He let my daughters climb up high on one to see what he was doing. It was great fun. Don't know how long it will be up.

How wonderful... I think he said on the show that they expect to last about 3 yrs before "nature" reclaims it again. Really neat stuff, all, thx for sharing the link!
