I am not fond of chickens but am deathly afraid of alligators...,
The Mojave Green. Fear? Not so much...but they die when I come across them, and if I'm anywhere that I will encounter this snake I'll be armed with no less than a shovel. Bye Bye.
Must be highly poisonous?? Not familiar with the snake. Is it a bright green or dull...??
They are fully identifiable and quite green. Picture a green tinted Diamondback with a serious attitude issue. A Great Basin , sidewider or Diamond back will retreat. A Green will flat come after you. The venom is a neuro/hemotoxic combo and there is NO antivenom. Taking venom means death. End of line. Where they evolved from , jury is out. But they are here now. They are more common further South of here. AZ and S NV have more of them. But I've encountered them here within the last ten years.
A guard on the base I worked at was bitten. The fang barely punctured the canvas upper of her boot and the scratch was hardly discernible. She had to be airlifted and was on a breathing machine for 5 days. For barely a scratch. It is THE deadliest snake in N America. And a bit of a newcomer on the scene. I will kill every one I come across. One way or another.
I live in northern New England. There are occasional rattlesnakes, but we don't have the deadly insects and reptiles seen in the south, although disease-carrying mosquitos and ticks have become more common.
And CroFab is an anti-venom made using the venom specifically from the Mojave rattlesnake (as well as others) and is effective against envenomation from a Mojave.
We have the Eastern diamondback here in Md. and he is allegedly more aggressive than the Western version, although I've never met either one for comparison. Have encountered several copperheads though.

One snake especially terrifying to me would be African black mamba, maybe because he can run faster than me, aggressive as hell, and runs with his head above the ground, up in the air. That has got to be a frightening sight. Fortunately, not much chance of running into one here.
