There was a show on PBS last night about how endangered Pangolins are, all because of Asian folklore and superstition. They are the same people driving the ivory trade and you don't even want to know what they do to the Sun Bear. They have no respect for other creatures in this world except the Panda Bear and I'm sure that's because of publicity and financial gains for China. :-(

The article says 70 million/YEAR. Even 70 million ants would probably weigh something over 300 lbs so, no, they don’t eat 70 million/day.

From OP’s link.

“Pangolins can eat up to 70 million insects per year. ”

I was going to say they are the MOST TRAFFICKED animal in the world according to that PBS show last night. I am not happy with Asians with all the destruction they cause in nature. Backwards people.

No.

Even your link indicated that it was up to 70 million per year.
