There are beavers and beaver dams all over where we are in NW CT. The result is lovely wetlands and birds, birds, birds. Brings a great deal of pleasure, no doubt.

Funny, a few years ago, a beaver moved into the Kellogg Environmental Center in Derby CT. Flooded the road.. there just wasn't enough space for what the beaver had in mind.. Never did find out how they fixed that problem.. But up here, it's just great.
