I am looking for 5 places to rent in the area. My husband and myself are looking for 2 bedroom, all bills paid, washer and dryer. We probably can sign a 6 month lease but most of us will not be there longer than that. We will be mobilizing in Feb. 4 of the places will be for single males. They will be mobilizing in as soon as November. There will be alot of people looking for places to rent other than my company. Our contractors and suppliers will be looking as well.

Not much at Broken Bow and I am doubtful someone from there will see your post.
Best bet would be to contact the city clerk or the local bank. They will know what is possible and or give you some contact info.

You had better get on the ground and start looking. All the towns within 40 miles are the type you will miss if you blink. A few years back, there were a number of places to rent but demand for housing has increased.

Kearney, the nearest large city, is 65 miles away and has pretty plentiful housing but that is a long haul, especially during the winter months.

Candi Smith, I am an Equipment Operator and I live in Broken Bow, I don't want to leave this summer to go to work. Is your company looking for a Finish Blade hand or Finish Dozer hand? I have built several wind farms in CA. Please contact me @ threeriverscatahoulas@yahoo.com Chuck

Another idea is to use travel trailers or motorhomes. You can buy cheap and there are parks around. I work out of North Platte and live in my 36'class A at Holiday RV in North Platte for 480/mo includes everything, water, electric, phone, cable, easy access to everything.
