Can't believe the news media is treating that non story like some big secret deal when we've all known about what went on up there for years.

Here's something I'm involved with. (I named it. ) Silent Heroes

and one of our committee members is president of the Road Runners. These are the guys that worked at Area 51. Home Page - Roadrunners Internationale Declassified U-2 A-12 Projects Aquatone OXCART Area 51

Both have been on National TV.

Here's a video on the Silent Heroes of the Cold War National Memorial which will be built on the grounds of the new Mt. Charleston Visitor Center:

I really wonder if I know you?
Did you work at Lockheed ADP?
If so for how long?
I was on a later project than the A12 or U2 but thought maybe you worked through later years?
Does Bldg. 310 ring a bell?

No, I did not work at Lockheed. I mostly worked in local television until I went to work for the State. My wife worked for some defense contractors and spent some time at the site. But I met Steve Ririe, the chairman of Silent Heroes of the Cold War Nat'l Memorial, when I worked for the State.

My father did work at Lockheed - CA after his Military career, maybe you knew him?

At Lockheed he was an Engineer Manager for the Aerial Reconnaissance Program (dad had known Kelly Johnson for years and went to work there with him before he died, around 1987, I think). In the Military he was a U2 pilot and then a U2/SR71 commander. His entire Military career was in Reconnaissance. His last name was Horton.

He's listed in the Roadrunners pilot roster. See the link above.

I hope we learn more about the UFO coverups by our government. Maybe finally they will tell the truth about Roswell.

How many "truths" would you actually accept? Are you convinced of only one "truth," and that anything else they say is a lie? What if "the truth" you believe in isn't actually "the truth"?

The belief that we're being regularly visited by extra-terrestrial beings and that the government is covering it up is pretty much on par with any religion. There's no scientific evidence to support the belief, there are lots of stories and rumors about it, and the people who believe in it and preach it do so with remarkable passion, as if their eternal souls depend on it being true. It's weird.
