The signal to noise (or, more accurately noise to signal) ratio in this thread is amazing.

How do you know they were Lyft/Uber drivers? Were they all wearing nametags to say so & then you confirmed it with each individually?

If you're going to assert rideshare drivers are dope addicted, I'd love to see the proof. Not just "because I say so".

Link? It would be interesting to see the proof ...

Thank you for proving my point about this ridiculous uninformed thread. WOW

By the way, I was just at the biggest drug house and there are currently no less than 10 rideshare drivers in line to buy dope for themselves while on duty. Enjoy that ride!

#1. If you truly can't identify a rideshare driver you are physically or mentally impaired. #2. I did an independent survey of local rideshare drivers out of 1000 drivers only 5 told their insurers they were using their vehicle for commercial purposes. #3 A drunk uber driver carrying a gun in an ankle holster is a criminal. Hit that pipe stoner.

So flew into town for business and needed to start over at a business partners house today in the SW. Uber estimated a higher fare ($36) due to surge pricing although the airport was empty when I was there so Lyft it is with a ride estimate of $16-24. Looked at the cab line as I walked out and it was empty, maybe three cabs gone from the lineup and no one walking in the line. Get to the rideshare area and there are over 20 people waiting for a ride. Ride goes well and pay $21 including a tip. Few hours later took a look at Ride Guru and it says same taxi fare is estimated to be $52!

Now who in their right mind pays $52 for such a ride? And all you taxi lobbyists in here give me a good argument for paying a taxi fare? Seems you need it seeing how slow business was today.
