I'm simply looking for the best, price is not an issue. I'm looking for a nice, elegant room overlooking the river...I want the best. Looking at all of the casino's websites, not enough info or pics are given.
*NOTE TO CASINOS: First of all, try to make your website as guest friendly as possible. There is absolutely no reason why I should have to dig and dig to find info on the best suites you have, that should pop up first. Second, 1 picture of a room and 1 picture of folded towels on a counter for the bathroom image is just plain lazy. For Gods sake, take some pride in your suites and show them off, otherwise I'm going to think your Hotel is crap and trying to hide that fact by not providing photos.

Can anyone give me a good suggestion?

we stayed at the aquarius last year. it was a nice clean hotel with a great view of the river. we didn't go all out & get a fancy dancy presidental suite. just a plain old room. i have no idea how it measures up to the other hotels, but i would stay with them again.

I have stayed at a couple of different hotels over the years such as the Laughlin River Lodge (formerly the River Palms), Edgewater, and the Colorado Belle.

There doesn't seem to be much difference between them. They're all OK with nothing fancy about them. Rooms facing the river cost a little more than rooms facing the parking lot and highway.

If you want the best/nicest, then stay at Aquarius. It is by far the cleanest and newest looking hotel on the river. Their casino is also the most open and inviting. The Golden Nugget may be decent but I have yet to stay in their hotel.

Most of these casinos aren't that busy so their online presence is not that great and they only do a half-decent job of luring in new visitors.

If you gamble, you will probably receive an offer or two from Aquarius in the future as they sometimes offer $50 for two nights etc. The Edgewater/Colorado Belle will offer you free rooms in the future if you gamble there as well. Laughlin is quiet and relaxing as long as there aren't any big events planned for the weekend.

Grew up in Kingman, family still in the area.

Stay in Laughlin 4 times a year since forever.

IMHO, the Golden Nugget is the nicest.
