I took a 20% pay cut at work. I was told by management that we would get our pay back in 3 months. It has been over 3 months. I don't know what the rules are for unemployment, because I have never had to file. What can I do? I live in Nevada.

A job with 20% pay cut is still more than unemployment on the full amount. Unemployment pays at most 50% or so of your full pay rate.

You're getting more than you would on unemployment. Be happy with that, keep your job.

It is better to have a 20% salary cut than to have no salary at all. Unemployment is increasing day by day and people are lucky who are employed.
