As one of our regulars can vouch for, you've GOT to visit The Friendly Toast in Portsmouth. It's got the most varied menu of anywhere I know, the food is very creatively prepared, a definite must do if you're in the area. They have many vegan friendly selections, lots to look at while you're eating. A FUN place, GREAT for breatkfast, lunch or dinner.

If you're in the Hampton/Seabrook area, cross the border into Salisbury MA and check out Lena's Seafood. Wonderful fried clams and scallops

If you're looking for a special night out sort of meal, try Ron's Landing at Hampton Beach. It's VERY pricy, however, one of the best meals I've had in my life was there.

Mmmmm food, one of my favorite subjects

I am going to visit New England this summer and want to get a locals view point on some good places to eat, be it a diner, hole in the wall or restaurant. Heck, anything you can tell me regarding a visitor would be great. Best beach, photo opportunity, light houses, etc.

Thanks in advance!

I know the New England coast can be rocky but are there good sandy beaches to stroll in either NH or ME?
No rocks in New Hampshire but the Maine coast is alot prettier.....Lovely..
