Looking to stay a nite or two, with views of the lake. Any suggestions? Also good casual dining .Thanks

Low key place: Lodging at base of Mt. Sunapee, NH and overlooking Lake Sunapee. Family-friendly, clean comfortable rooms, Pet-friendly.

There are no hotels or motels directly on the lake. The Burkehaven Lodge is a short walk to the lake. The Mountain Edge Resort is the fanciest place to stay and also has budget packages. The Anchorage on the water is where everybody eats. Seafood chowder is superb.

Salt Hill is a nice Irish pub with casual dining. It is on the main road to Sunapee ski mountain...
