I know the OP said they didn’t want rich and uppity, but for the people suggesting Bow, I thought it was pretty wealthy tho? Not super rich, but people seem much more than just comfortable. A few people I know compared it to the Boxford, MA of NH and I thought that was a great assessment. My best friend moved to Bow when we were younger and her parents are still there. They live in your typical newer development of McMansions. All upperclass people, for sure—or at least where her parents are anyways.
If you want to find out which towns are more conservative, this map from the 2020 election will show you how each town voted. NH is a wonderful state and you will find it’s citizens are independent and values freedom and personal responsibility. A great state to raise a family in and you can find what you are looking for if you do your research.
