Exclamation The New Hampshire Town Meeting

In the last couple of weeks, towns across New Hampshire had their annual town meetings, where people are voted ina and out, and various things in the the budget are voted on. Fun stuff...

Here in Londonderry, we have the Town Vote the preceding Tuesday, in which the various available positions are voted on. Then we attend the Town Meeting on Saturday (all day long...) in which we vote to approve (or not) the various articles on the town budget.

It strikes me as a little bit backward that we have the polls open to VOTE before the town meeting where we DISCUSS. How is it done in other towns?? This inquiring mind wants to know!!

why is it that I can never load any page dealing with NH Magazine?! It's very frustrating. I'd like to see if it's something I want to subscribe to (or even what the cost is), but all I ever get is 'server not found' messages!

Can anyone else get on their website?

I just got right on. What browser are you using-could it be that?

If you cannot get it through the link-try going to NH.com Mar 26, 2008: Where New Hampshire Clicks! and click on the link for NH Magazine-in the teal colored area. Try physically typing in the website-nh.com
instead of following my link.

I use firefox for linux.

didn't make any difference. I don't normally click on links anyway (except with google), usually I copy the link to a new tab and then click. I've tried copying the link, clicking the link from a message, typing it in straight... makes no difference. poop.

thanks anyway.
