Many of my friends have been moving to Florida for retirement and I recently spent some time down there (I also did a lot of skiing in NH). However, in my observation although there may be some savings over where I currently live, CT, I do not see any significant savings for retirement in Florida over New Hampshire. Am I missing something?

You dont need to buy anything in floida to be counted as your domicile or a resident is 4 months. dont register to vote or vote. You can if you want, that just complicates this method.
You can get a drivers license or a state issued id with an address , a vehicle or vessel registration, you dont even have to drive it, ever!
You can register your road vehicle for a one time fee forever in montana and use an llc for privacy.
Florida charges too much for vehicle registrations.
So, youre a florida resident driving a company vehicle visiting new hampshire.
If you need details let me know.
