I drive through Lyndenborogh often.
At or below the speed limit, because it’s the right thing to do and
there’s a cop parked under the “welcome to Lydenborough” sign
9 times out of 10. They’re not not messing around so watch your speeds
Sorry, I got off subject.
How is it actually pronounced?
Is it
Linden - borough ?
Lind - borough?
Line - borough ?
With a soft or hard I but really a Y...
I’m sure I’m over thinking it but figured I’d ask..
I googled and Wikipedia'd it but didn’t get any help.
I could ask the cops I see parked entering and exiting the town but they look busy....

First of all it's spelled Lyndeborough. It is pronounced Lind- borough.
Laughing - I've heard it pronounced a lot of different ways, I am no longer sure mine is correct.
So the “d” is silent and the “Y” is pronounced as a had I.....
Maybe some towns should print the name phonetically hahaha.
Lyndeborough isn’t the worst or hardest one I’ve seen but it sticks out from its neighbors. That’s for sure.
Just ask the police officer when he pulls you over for speeding by the school how he pronounces it...
