For those of you who watch Food Network or have heard of Chef Robert Irvine,
A restaurant in Windham was featured in an episode of Restaurant:Impossible earlier this week (Chatterbox Cafe).
It's nice to see NH get some media attention outside of this area (albeit for the wrong kind of reason). At least now Robert Irvine knows (New) Hampshire exists.
I missed it too, but just went to foodnetwork.com, and got the schedule: Chef Robert Irvine often sees restaurant owners with little experience and lofty ideas of how to run a restaurant, but Lynn, the owner of Chatterbox in Windham, New Hampshire, takes the cake. A former stay-at-home mom, she used her late husband's life insurance policy to open up a restaurant, hoping to provide for her five children. Robert has just two days to give the well-intentioned but naive family the tools and skills to run a successful family business.
Love Chef Irvine! Miss that show ever since I cancelled Comcast TV. Just stream everything via Internet link now, but "Restaurant Impossible" isn't available for streaming. Oh, well. One of these days, it'll be available.
