Chatham (Far Hills: middle school, assessment, train station)

We are looking for other areas like Chatham to compare. We would like easy access to the train station and parking availability. The schools have to be excellent. I read somewhere that the schools in Basking Ridge are very good, but there seems to be a problem with bullying. After alot of searching we have decided on New Jersey. We would like to narrow our search down to a few areas. Thank you.

If you are looking for areas like Chatam, you might want to try:

-Far Hills
-Basking Ridge
-Benardsville

They are all neighboring towns that are just as great as Chatam with the same small town atmosphere and beautiful scenery. I love the area!!

Thank you. But, how are the schools. Is there a bullying problem? I have two girls, the oldest going into Middle School.

I am not sure about the bullying problem as only a parent with a stundent in there would know but that still would not be a very fair assessment since one child can have issues with another student and others wont.

Thank you! That is where I found out about the bullying in Basking Ridge. It seems it has happened more than once.
