I grew up in Midland Park, which has Ridgewood Water Company Water, which is artesian well water. It tastes good. But I lived in Fair Law, whiCh has nasty brown water, and in Long Branch, where the water tastes slightly salty. Now I have New Jersey American Water. Meh.
Definitely not Bogota's, we have to filter it through a Brita and then my girlfriend hasta add a spritz of lemon juice just to drink it. I avoid it and just opt for beer...
Surprised to hear these answers, you'd think we were in a third world country. Typical Jersey whining. The water in my town in South Jersey tastes pretty good.
On a side note, there are several companies that bottle NYC tap water and sell it at absurd prices... and people buy it too. Go figure. NYC tap definitely is good though, it makes sense considering it comes from the Catskills.

I would say any town served by Middlesex Water Co. Why? Well, because they don't add Fluoride to the water supply. I rather drink my own pee before fluoridated water. However, I heard that the State of new jersey has mandated all water companies to fluoidate their water supply. I guess...I'll be wasting some money buying a reverse osmosis water filter.

Senate Bill 959 hasn't passed yet. Lots of NJ systems don't fluoridate; the system I'm on, New Jersey American Water Short Hills, doesn't fluoridate.
