Smart move. I don't miss much about NY but damn was the tap water better than my town's now.

That said though, the tap water I grew up on further north in NJ was excellent, as has been tap water in Monmouth County. Some jerk must just be peein' in our pipes...

I live in Newark and the water here taste great especially in the winter,I thinks Its the best tap water in the state.

I usually get annoyef with whining, but I think there is a lot of merit on this thread. Obviously if the water is good where you live you assume it would be that way for all since you don't know any better. We have New Jersey American Water where I am and I can smell the chlorine when I turn on the faucet...and it doesn't taste good at all. i drink way less tap water now than I have at any other point in my life!
